Corwana (Sindre Låstad, 22) is a producer of electronic music, mostly trance and dance. Although not recognised in the mainstream music industry for his talents, in the underground scene he is a wellknown name. Having

proved to be a musical talent throughout his childhood, singing along with songs his parents played, and hammering his keyboard to everyone went insane, it was no wonder he got into producing some day. It all started at the age of 16, with the program eJay, which was

given to him by a friend. Corwana was sceptical, 'cause he felt he could never produce anything as perfect as the professional tracks he loved. He had no musical background or education. But once given to him, he immediately got hooked, and couldn't stop produce track after track. -"It's funny to think about how proud I was of my early tracks. It's good to hear that I have improved a little", he sais.

He soon realized the time was right to try other programs. Having played with Fruity Loops and Cubase for a while, he decided to go for Propellerhead Reason, which he still uses today. At the moment this self-learned musician has produced more than 200 tracks, made 7 home-albums, shared several of his tracks to the world by the internet, receiving numerous of good critics. He's also known for his remixing, and have made popular remixes for a lot of his musician-friends. He's been told he has a rare talent, and that he produces trance-tracks in a fresh and different way, using more real instruments than the average trance-producer. He's also involved in co-projects, as well as his own commercial/comic dance-alias Second Base. -"I love melodies. It doesn't really matter what genre it is, as long as the melody is good. I'm open-minded and get inspired easily". And this statement clearly shines through when listening to his music. It's safe to say that Corwana will never stop making music, and the fans, family and friends have many more unique tracks to look forward to.
